I-395/95 Commuter Choice Public Hearing Sept. 5

The public is invited to attend an open house and public hearing to discuss projects proposed for I-395/95 Commuter Choice Program funding. The event will be hosted by the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission and the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission.

The open house will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, at the OmniRide Transit Center, 14700 Potomac Mills Rd., Woodbridge, VA 22192. Public comment will be accepted at the regular PRTC Commission Meeting, following the open house at 7:00 p.m.

Those unable to attend the open house and public hearing events are encouraged to provide comments using this online survey. Details about each of the 17 proposed projects are available on the Commuter Choice website.

Individuals who require special assistance to participate (such as a sign language interpreter, foreign language interpreter, or the presentation in an alternate format such as Braille) should contact PRTC no later than Wednesday, August 21, to make the necessary arrangements.

I-395/95 Commuter Choice is a joint PRTC/NVTC program providing funding for projects in the corridor that maximize person throughput and implement multimodal improvements.
