Expanded Service For OmniRide Express Routes On 6/22
On Monday, June 22, OmniRide will resume operation of all OmniRide Express routes. The Express routes will operate at Friday service levels, which is one step down from full-service. See minor route changes below.
Passengers on Express buses must pay fares with a SmarTrip card because cash is not being accepted at this time. While OmniRide’s Metro Express and local buses have continued to operate at regular service levels throughout the pandemic, fares are suspended as a safety precaution.
We want you to know that because the health and safety of our passengers and staff is paramount, OmniRide buses undergo stringent cleaning and sanitizing twice daily – midday and evening – and enhanced cleanings are performed once a week with hospital-grade cleaning products. Also for everyone’s safety, face coverings are required per the Governor’s orders and riders are reminded to take precautions and follow CDC guidelines.
OmniRide welcomes our returning passengers. See routes and schedules or contact Customer Service at 703-730-6664, for more information.
