What is OmniRide Access?
OmniRide Access is a paratransit service for people with disabilities. Vans operate within ¾ mile of the OmniRide Local bus routes that serve Manassas and Manassas Park.
People who are unable to ride a fixed-route bus because of disabilities or health issues may apply to use OmniRide Access paratransit services. An eligibility review will determine whether an applicant is eligible for paratransit service.
OmniRide Access vans operate Monday through Friday from 5:25 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
How does it work?
Eligible passengers will receive an OmniRide Access ID card once they complete the eligibility process. After receiving the ID card, passengers may request trips at least 24 hours in advance.
Trained Personal Care Attendants may ride for free with an eligible passenger. Other companions, including children, must pay the full fare. When booking a trip, please be sure to mention whether you will be accompanied by a Personal Care Attendant, companion, or service animal.
Those who are eligible for OmniRide Access also qualify for reduced fares on OmniRide’s fixed-route buses. Just show your OmniRide Access ID card to the bus operator when boarding.
How much does it cost?
The fare for a one-way OmniRide Access trip is $3.10. Passengers can pay their fare with:
- EXACT change (drivers do not make change)
- OmniRide Access token
Tokens cost $3.10 each and can be purchased in packs of 10 for $31.00. Tokens can be purchased by phone at 703-730-6664 or you can submit a completed token order form.
