Meet Robyn as she shares her OmniRide experience!
Q: What’s your name, and what do you do for work?
-
A: My name is Robyn and I am a Business Management Director for a company in Tysons Corner.
Q: How and when did you first discover OmniRide?
- A: Although I have been commuting to Tysons since 1991, I just learned about and started taking the OmniRide Manassas Metro Express (Route 60) in May of 2025.
Q: What route do you take and where do you board?
- A: I take the Manassas Metro Express (60) to get from Manassas to the Tysons Metro. I board at the first stop at Manassas Mall.
Q: What are some of the benefits that you get from using OmniRide’s services?
- A: The benefits are huge savings in time and money! The bus is free, so I am saving on both the cost of gas and the HOV Express fee that I would periodically “splurge” on. The Express fees can run close to $50 on bad traffic days. I also save time in two ways: 1) The bus departs the Mall at 6:25. We pull into the Tysons Metro between 7:00 – 7:05. If I were to drive my car, I would need to leave my house by 5:50 am to get to Tysons by 7:00. Additionally, I can continue working, read, and quite honestly relax on the way home. Things I would not be able to do if I were driving.
Q: Would you recommend OmniRide to others?
- A: Not only would I, but I have. I sing OmniRide praises all the time. The drivers are friendly, in fact I know my afternoon driver by name – Victor aka Vic! On the days that I do need to drive to work because maybe I need my car for an appointment, I can grab a few of my co-workers who are riders to ride in with me. They then can take the bus back to the lot in the afternoon. It’s a win win!
