OmniRide to Host Senior Summit June 25

OmniRide will host a Senior Summit on June 25 from 10 am to 2:30 pm at the Ferlazzo Building. Community partners will showcase their services and provide resources beneficial to older adults, their families, and caregivers. There will be prize drawings held every hour, as well as free snacks and entertaining demonstrations including line dancing and chair yoga.

 

The event will feature four 45-minute presentations from the following organizations:

  • Transportation services presented by OmniRide and Prince William County Transportation,
  • Recreational activities by Dale City Recreation and the Hylton Performing Arts Center,
  • Safety and security by AARP and the Prince William County Police Department,
  • Local programs and resources by Prince William County Adult Protective Services and Action in Community Through Service (ACTS).

The event is FREE and open to the public. OmniRide’s 52 Route 1 Local buses serve the bus stop directly in front of the Ferlazzo building. Additionally, OmniRide’s Access paratransit service (advance registration required) is available for travel to the event.
