Director of Information Technology - OmniRide
OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to provide strategic leadership and oversight of enterprise IT security and technology operations. This role is responsible for aligning IT vision with organizational goals, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures, and driving innovation across the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and cybersecurity strategy.
- Oversee enterprise-wide security policies, risk assessments, and incident response plans.
- Lead IT projects, manage budgets, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Establish governance standards for hardware, software, and data protection.
- Supervise IT staff and foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Extensive experience in IT management, network administration, and project leadership.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience managing teams and complex IT projects.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
Salary Range:
$133,505 – $180,231 annually, commensurate with experience, plus attractive benefits. This position is Hybrid office/telework after an initial training period.
