Courtesy is Contagious - Tips for a more enjoyable trip

Posted: 08/20/2025

Recently, some riders have reported an increase in loud cellphone calls and onboard conversations. Please be considerate of your fellow riders as you travel together. Here are some other courtesy tips to help make everyone’s commute more enjoyable:

--Form a single line to board the bus and avoid using personal belongings to hold your place in line.

--Have your fare card or monthly pass ready to pay your fare.

--Carry your bags in your hands rather than over your shoulders so they don't hit seated passengers as you walk in the aisle.

--Keep personal belongings on your lap or in the overhead compartment to ensure fellow passengers can also ride safely in a seat.

--Use headphones when listening to music, watching videos or playing games.

Be mindful of how your behavior can affect fellow riders. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will allow everyone to have a more enjoyable commute. Remember: Courtesy is Contagious!
