Winter weather is in the forecast for our region on Tuesday, December 2, and Friday, December 5. This could impact OmniRide bus service. In preparation, please review the Winter Weather Emergency Service Plan (ESP), which is available here. ESP brochures are also available on buses.
OmniRide will monitor conditions and if service changes are warranted, starting at 4 a.m. for morning service and at 11 a.m. for afternoon service, customers should check for:
- A Rider Express e-mail/SMS advisory;
- A special alert on the home page of this website;
- Announcements on local television stations and on WTOP radio (103.5 FM) if time and circumstances warrant.
REMEMBER: No news is good news. If you don't see a service change alert, OmniRide buses are operating regular service
