OmniRide Service Change Takes Effect December 9

OmniRide’s Service Change will take effect on Monday, December 9. All timetables for Express, Metro Express, and Local routes have been revised, and schedules will change on that date. OmniRide will also begin serving the new Neabsco Potomac Commuter Garage. Specific routes that will serve the garage are listed below.

NOTE: 

- The new schedules will be available online and from bus operators starting December 2.

 

THE FOLLOWING ROUTES HAVE CHANGES:

OmniRide Express

  • Stafford-Washington State Department (541)
    • New timetables

 

  • Woodbridge -Navy Yard (563)
    • New timetables
    • Service to OmniRide Transit Center and Potomac Mills Commuter Lot, Telegraph Lot, and Horner Road Lot discontinued, instead will serve stop at new Neabsco Garage

 

  • Front Royal/Gainesville-Washington (611)
    • Route extended to originate at Crooked Run Park & Ride Lot in Front Royal
    • New timetables

 

  • Warrenton/Gainesville-Pentagon-Navy Yard (612)
    • Route extended to originate at Warrenton Park & Ride Lot
    • New timetables

 

  • Gainesville-Dulles/Herndon/Reston (618) – ROUTE DISCONTINUED

 

  • Haymarket-Rosslyn/Ballston (622)
    • New timetables

 

  • Spotsylvania-Pentagon/Washington Navy Yard (923)
    • New timetables

 

  • Falmouth-Pentagon/Rosslyn/Ballston (932)
    • New timetables

    • Service to the OmniRide Transit Center is discontinued
    • Will serve the new Neabsco Garage after serving the stop near Potomac Mills Mall

    • Service to the OmniRide Transit Center is discontinued, instead will serve stop at new Neabsco Garage
    • El Charro bus stop discontinued

 

  • Lake Ridge (92)

    • Stop inside of Smoketown Plaza (Lowes) is discontinued
    • Two new bus stops on Minnieville Road
    • Weekday service to Prince William Senior Center reduced to only three trips
