New Southern Routes Proposal

Public Hearing Notice

PRTC has scheduled public hearings to discuss proposed new services using the I-95 Express Lanes extension. Details about the proposed changes will be available at OmniRide.com prior to the hearings.

Public hearings will be held:

Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 5:00 pm
Central Rappahannock Library – Howell Branch
806 Lyons Boulevard, Room 1, Fredericksburg, VA 22406

Monday, October 16, 2023, at 5:00 pm
FRED Operations/Training Building (Bowman Center)
11710 Main Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22408

Comments will be accepted during the public hearings or may be emailed to publichearing@omniride.com. Written comments also may be mailed to PRTC Public Hearing, 14700 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192. All mailed/emailed comments must be received no later than October 23, 2023, at 5:00 pm.

Individuals who require special assistance to participate in the public hearings (such as a sign language interpreter, foreign language interpreter, or the presentation in an alternate format such as Braille) should contact OmniRide no later than September 27, 2023, at 5:00 pm, at publichearing@omniride.com or 703-580-6122.

Stafford to Washington D.C./State Department (541)

Falmouth to Pentagon/Crystal City/Rosslyn/Ballston (932)

  • Route 630 Lot: 1150 Courthouse Road, Stafford, VA 22554
  • Follows OmniRide Dale City-Washington (D-100) routing in D.C.
  • Does not serve the Pentagon
  • Regular Express Fare

  • Route 17 Lot: 627 Warrenton Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22406
  • Follows OmniRide Dale City-Pentagon & Rosslyn/Ballston (D-200) routing in Rosslyn/Ballston
  • All trips serve the Pentagon/Rosslyn/Ballston
    • Timed Transfer to Crystal City on OmniRide Dale City-Pentagon & Rosslyn/Ballston (D-200) from Pentagon
  • Regular Express Fare

 

Spotsylvania to Pentagon/L'Enfant Plaza/Navy Yard (923)

Southern Lot Connectors (SLC)

  • Commonwealth Lot: 5033 Commonwealth Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22407
  • Follows OmniRide Dale City-Washington Navy Yard (D-300) routing in D.C.
  • All trips serve the Pentagon
  • Regular Express Fare

  • Pentagon to 610 Lot to 630 Lot
  • Pentagon to Route 17 Lot to Spotsylvania
  • Mid-day trip for both SLC routes
  • Late evening trip for both SLC routes
  • Connects with other D.C. routes at Pentagon
  • Regular Express Fare

  • No standalone schedule, trips will be incorporated into existing schedules
